Daniel Straus vs. Marlon Sandro
Official: Unanimous Decision – 29-28, 30-27, 30-27, Daniel Straus
Slow start, feeling it out. Major low blow by Straus! Wow, what a kick! This is the Season 5 Heavyweight Final all over again! Sandro takes the full five minutes and actually continues! They both go for power shots but Straus gets the takedown! Sandro flips Straus down after working back up but Straus has his back! But Sandro is too good here and escapes! Straus gets another takedown and holds on tight. Sandro is soley looking for counters now but Straus once again closes the distance and presses Sandro against the cage. They break and both look for counters. Straus eventually gets the Back Body Lock again but can’t do anything as Sandro spins out. Round three, both going for the kill now! Neither get anything and quickly back off. Sandro locks up a Standing Arm Triangle against the cage! Straus defends but Sandro won’t give it up! Sandro lets it go. Straus finally gets the Belly to Back Suplex he’s been looking for! Rear Naked Choke! Bell!  

-Bantamweight Semifinals-
Marcos Galvao vs. Travis Marx
Official: Unanimous Decision – 29-28, Marcos Galvao
They come out swinging! Big shot by Galvao! He recovers in the clinch and go back at it. Marx plays defense the rest of the round. Same goes for round two with Galvao stuffing the takedowns as Marx make up points. Round three and Marx simply can’t make up the points.

Carmelo Marrero vs. Seth Petruzelli
Petruzelli was not cleared to fight by the Doctor’s the day of after displaying signs of sickness.

Marcin Held vs. Derreck Kennington
Official: Round 1 – Submission 2:08 Heel Hook, Marcin Held
Held goes down early! He attacks off his back! Omoplata! Kennington escapes and we’re back on the feet. Both guys going hard as Held tries to close the distance and Kennington tries to keep it. Held gets him against the cage and pulls guard! Heel Hook!

Waachiim Spiritwolf vs. Marius Zaromskis
Official: Round 2 – Doctor Stoppage 5:00, Marius Zaromskis
Spiritwold presses Zaromskis to the cage after being pressured early. They break and Zaromskis lands some hard strikes and Spiritwolf is cut. Big slam by Spiritwolf! But Zaromskis is quickly back up and scoops Spiritwolf down. They slowly scramble up and Spritiwolf sticks to him in the clinch. They exchange in center cage, both landing some big shots. Zaromskis lands a great knee but Spiritwolf comes forward. Spiritwolf grabs a high kick and drags Zaromskis to the ground but only for a second, using it to re-engage the clinch. Zaromskis lands hard knees! Spiritwolf unloads on Zaromski’s against the cage! He’s hurt and tries to escape! He gets hit again and is down! Spiritwolf on top! Zaromskis is in a bad spot! Zaromski’s survives the round. In between the rounds, the Doctor’s call the fight off because of a cut on Spiritwolf! However, the cut does not appear to be significant. There’s some controversy here, especially since Spiritwolf had the upperhand, and yet again, these two fighters can’t get a legit finish to their fight. Third time’s the charm?
